The Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2016 will be held from 2 to 4 March at SECC in Glasgow. Speakers include Chris Askew, chief executive of Diabetes UK; Dame Frances Ashcroft, professor of physiology at the University of Oxford; and Lalantha Leelarathna, consultant diabetologist at the Manchester Diabetes Centre. Topics such as controversies in dietary management, glucose monitoring, device safety, and hypoglycemia updates will be under discussion. There will also be sessions aimed specifically at practice nurses treating diabetes.
