An event to highlight treating and managing psychosis and schizophrenia in adults will be held on 8 June at the Hallam Conference Centre in London. Some of the topics that will be discussed include prevention and early intervention, how to ensure a recovery-focused approach while supporting families, and improving the physical health of those with Schizophrenia and other serious mental health conditions. Speakers include Dr Paul French, associate director for early intervention at Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Tony Gill, a mental health practitioner at Leeds University, and Alison Brabban, a consultant clinical psychologist, at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.
