Prescribing
A conference for prescribers will be held on 27 January 2015 at the ICO Conference Centre in London.

The focus of the conference will be to reduce medication errors, with a particular emphasis on a zero-tolerance approach to poor prescribing. Speakers include Dr Ahmed Ameer, the medication safety officer at NHS England, Nicola Davey, a trustee of the Clinical Human Factors Group, and Martin Stephens, the chief executive of the Wessex Academic Health Science Network. Some of the topics will be how to reduce harm from missed doses, omitted and delayed medicines, and medication incident error reporting.
