A 'healthy start' for children, families and young people will be the focus of the DH's fourth week of action. From the 17 to the 21 November, the DH will be holding a week to develop practice and services for school nurses and health visitors. The week will follow the 0-19 year journey and will be an opportunity to showcase and learn from the work of healthcare and early years practitioners and wider partners. There will be five key themes, one for each day of the week. The themes will include promoting emotional resilience, health protection and controlling well-being. There will also be a number of Webinars and Twitter chats run by a number of organisations such as the CPHVA, the RCN and Health Education England. Independent Nurse will be publishing articles in the lead up to the week from some of the key members leading the week including Viv Bennett, the director of nursing at the DH. The hashtag for the week will be #PHCYPWeek.
