A project to increase pre-registration student nurses' exposure to practice nursing is being run by the University of Hertfordshire.

A project to increase pre-registration student nurses' exposure to practice nursing is being run by the University of Hertfordshire.

The School of Health and Social Sciences has designed and implemented a project in response to national recommendations that Local Education and Training Boards (LETBs) develop and sustain practice nurses. The university will work with local CCGs, LETBs and a community education provider to increase the number of students placed in general practice.

An evening conference will take place on 11 September at the University of Hertfordshire on the outcome of the first phase of the project. Anyone working in general practice in the East of England or London is invited to attend.
