A reader worries 45 is too old to become a nurse A reader worries 45 is too old to become a nurse

I have been working as a healthcare worker in my local practice. When I was younger I dreamed of being a nurse and then maybe a health visitor but family commitments made it impossible. I was just wondering now the family are older and I have more free time, am I too old at 45 to start training and what help financial and practically can I get ?
