A guide to supporting a good diet in patients who have chronic kidney conditions has been created by an expert panel in collaboration with the Renal Nutrition Group of the British Dietetic Association. The guide contains recommendations and guidance for screening, assessment and diagnosis, suggested interventions and monitoring procedures for undernutrition. It is intended to support members of multidisciplinary teams to care for patients with severe cases of chronic kidney disease, including those on dialysis.
