Taking nursing across the world

Opportunities to nurse abroad are endless and you can bring your skills home, writes Vasil Barron

A career in nursing doesn’t exempt you from travelling – in fact, it does quite the opposite.

While the UK employs many nurses from overseas, UK nurses also like to travel.

There is a lot of opportunity globally for a career in nursing, not just within the UK. You could find yourself trading Derby for Dubai or exchanging London for Sydney.

There are job vacancies for nurses in nearly every nation, but two in particular are popular – Australia and Dubai.

A relocation to Dubai can offer a number of benefits including tax-free earnings. Some employers will even pay for accommodation (including bills) so it’s easy to see the appeal.
