0-12 months
A conference for health professionals working within children’s health services will be streamed live on 28 October

A conference for health professionals working within children’s health services will be streamed live on 28 October.

This free virtual conference will build on the knowledge and skills nurses and other healthcare providers need to improve outcomes for children suffering from allergies and their families.

Speakers include Amena Warner, Head of Clinical Services, Allergy UK; Bahee Van de Bor, Specialist Paediatric Dietitian, Great Ormond Street Hospital; Lynne Regent, CEO, Anaphylaxis Campaign; Dr. Helen Howells, GP With Extended Role in Paediatric Allergy, University Hospital Southampton; and many more distinguished guests.

With around 20% of the UK population affected by one or more allergic disorder, and a steady increase in rates of food allergy over the last decade, early intervention in childhood is vital to ensure timely, appropriate diagnosis and management. Recognising the expanding role of nurses, increased caseloads and the need for a multidisciplinary team approach, this virtual study day will benefit a range of health professionals working to provide effective, evidence-based care for children with allergies.
