A conference to help nurses and midwives prepare for the introduction of revalidation will be held on 2 February at The Studio Conference Centre in Birmingham. Speakers include Alan Corry Finn, executive director of nursing and director of primary care and older people’s services at Western Health and Social Care Trust, and Christine McKenzie, facilitator of the Clinical Leadership Programme for the Royal College of Nursing. Topics tunder discussion include decision making in revalidation; the role of the professional development discussion; and how to approach challenges in the process.
