A conference examining the challenges of diagnosing, managing and treating schizophrenia will be held on 18 and 19 January. The event will take place at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London. Speakers include Kevin Gournay, professor emeritus at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London; Gillian Haddock, professor of clinical psychology at the University of Manchester; and Professor David Kingdon, professor of mental healthcare delivery, University of Southampton. They will discuss topics such as the clinical implications of novel psychoactive substances, strategies for improving treatment adherence, and risk assessment and management of violence in schizophrenia.
