Health Education West Midlands will host a conference for general practice nurses on 24 and 25 February at the Alton Towers Hotel in Staffordshire. Speakers will include Karen Storey, chair of the general practice nursing group at HEE; Heather Henry, vice-chair of the NHS alliance; and Marina Lupari, the RCN's professional lead for practice and community nursing. Some of the topics that will be discussed at the conference include the future opportunities for practice nursing, embedding the 6Cs into general practice, and overcoming the challenges of a changing population. The conference will feature updates on the NMC code and revalidation. The conference is free.
