A conference on ways to develop electronic patient records (EPACCS) will be held at the ICO conference centre, London, on 29 April. Speakers will include Simon de Lusignan, professor of primary care and clinical informatics at the University of Surrey, Dr Martin Baggaley, medical director and clinical governance lead at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and Dr Catherine Millington-Saunders, the RCGP's national implementation clinical lead for EPACCS. Topics that will be discussed include putting patients in control of their records and information, what to consider when training a workforce to use EPACCS, and key enablers to support patient choice.
