RCN school nurses' conference

The RCN will host a conference for school nurses on 24 August at the Thistle Hotel in Marble Arch, London. Some of the topics covered include ADHD, diabetes in schools, HIV in children, and an update on immunisations and vaccinations. There will also be plenary sessions on children's mental health, anaphylaxis in schools, addressing fabricated illnesses, epilepsy, and how revalidation will affect school nurses. The event is aimed at all school nurses, including those from academies, independent, free and boarding schools. The conference will cost RCN members £150, with discounts for students and healthcare assistants.
