An expert group chaired by minister of state for care services Norman Lamb, has been created to 'strengthen' the NHS Constitution.
The group's members include RCN director of policy Howard Catton (pictured) and chief nursing officer Jane Cummings.
The group will oversee he consultation on strengthening the NHS Constitution, launched on 5 November, to ensure the revised constitution reflects the responses received . They will also develop a set of proposals to give the constitution greater traction so patients, staff and the public are clear what to do, and who to turn to, when their expectations are not met
