A new campaign to show appreciation for the heroes and heroines who have been in the front line of the fight against COVID-19 has been launched by the Mark Allen Group, the UK’s leading publisher of nursing content.

The campaign, #SupportingNurses, is centred around a new website, www.supportingnurses.co.uk, and will use the editorial strength of leading nursing publications, British Journal of Nursing and Independent Nurse to share uplifting stories of best practice, host videos from nurses and provide free resources on COVID-19 and related conditions.

In appreciation of the fact that nurses need emotional as well as professional support at this time, #SupportingNurses will also provide advice on resilience, wellness and publicise companies offering discounts and complimentary services to nurses, as well as providing a series of social media platforms for nurses to share their views and experiences.

‘It has never been more important to give something back to our readers, our nurses and your customers,’ said Chloe Benson, publishing director of #SupportingNurses.

As a leading publisher of nursing content, and with over 400,000 monthly readers – including nurses in primary care, secondary care, specialist nurses and staff nurses in all areas of the NHS and beyond, we want to give nurses as much help as we can.’
