NMC to update overseas nurse registration policy

Written by: | Published:

The NMC has reviewed its overseas registration policy in a bid to lead to a clearer, better understood and more robust registration process for overseas applicants, which will strengthen its ability to protect the public.

While the new arrangements are put into place, overseas applicants may experience some delays in the processing of their applications. The organisation has said it will not take new overseas applications until the review is completed, which we anticipate to be the end of February 2013.
