The Queens Nursing Institute (QNI) is calling on nurses to apply to its Fund for Innovation and Leadership 2014.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available as well as a year-long professional development programme for community nurses and their teams who have an original idea to improve patient care.
The application deadline is 7 October 2013 for projects that will start in January 2014 and run until January 2015.

The fund has been running since 1990 and has supported hundreds of projects to give nurses new skills and experience.
