Why did you become a nurse?

In my late 20s, I was looking for a career that would fit with a family, but that I would find interesting, rewarding and enjoyable.

How has your career developed since you started nursing?

I trained as an enrolled nurse working on an orthopaedic ward, then in A&E before completing a conversion course, gaining RGN (level 1). I worked on an emergency admission ward, then returned to A&E as a sister. During this time, I also worked as an occupational health nurse.
