A masterclass on legal issues surrounding the provision of palliative care will be held on 14 January 2015 at the Hallam Conference Centre in London.
The event will be led by Alexander Ruck-Keene, a barrister and expert in legal issues relating to healthcare. Topics that will be discussed at the event include the impact of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, advice on withdrawing and withholding life sustaining treatments, and information on the validity of advance decisions and statements in courts.
