The Florence Nightingale Foundation has opened applications for it's general and specialist leadership scholarships. The scholarships are intended for nurses who wish to enhance their leadership skills and define their long-term career development goals. Successful applicants will be awarded up to £15,000 and will undergo a tailored programme designed to support these aims, as well as work on individual patient care improvement plans. The Foundation, in cooperation with the Burdett Trust, has also launched an emerging leaders scholarship, for nurses and midwives who have already completed a front line leadership development programme.
