I am a practice nurse and have been asked to help recruit a healthcare assistant for the surgery. I'm not sure where to start; do you have any advice on this?
For many people recruiting and interviewing is a very traumatic process. However, with a little bit of planning and a little bit of thought it can be both a rewarding and enjoyable experience. The practicalities are quite detailed but here are the key elements which cover four questions:
• What will this person be doing?
• What skills must he/she have?
• How will we pick him/her?
•What else should we do?
