I work with a small group of colleagues and we have a good manager but we never get any development. Who is responsible for our skills and development?
This is an important question, especially for nurses in primary and community care. Often operating in small teams, it can be difficult to ensure that professional development remains relevant to the work that they do. All nurses are required to ensure their skills are kept up to date, as research develops new ways of delivering patient care.
